Health insurance plans in Collier County, Florida (2026)

I pulled every 2026 marketplace plan sold in Collier County, Florida out of the official CMS plan file. There are 131 plans from six carriers, and a 40 year old in Collier pays $730 a month at full price for the benchmark silver plan. Only one of the other 19 Florida counties I track has a higher one. Across all 79 counties and parishes I track in 24 states, only ten have a higher benchmark. Cigna also sells in Collier now and is leaving for 2027, so some of your neighbors have to switch plans this fall. Below are the carriers, the plan counts, the full prices before subsidy, and what I think the numbers mean if you live in Naples, Immokalee, Golden Gate, Marco Island or anywhere else in the county.

Who sells marketplace plans in Collier County

Six companies sell in Collier, against ten in the busiest Florida county I track and four in the thinnest. Florida Blue alone accounts for 53 of the 131 plans in Collier, 40 percent of the shelf, so a lot of what you see when you shop is one company's lineup in different metal levels.

Collier plan counts from the CMS 2026 landscape file (county FIPS 12021, Rating Area 11). Bronze includes expanded bronze, and companies CMS lists under more than one legal issuer are grouped with the legal names underneath.

Leaving Collier County for 2027

Cigna sells 10 of the 131 plans in Collier County this year. Cigna is leaving the ACA individual market in every state where it sells, on and off exchange, for 2027. After that exit, five carriers are left from the 2026 Collier lineup: Florida Blue, Ambetter Health, Molina Healthcare, UnitedHealthcare and Wellpoint. If you are enrolled with Cigna in Collier, you will get a notice this fall. If you do nothing you are moved to a replacement plan picked on price and metal level, and nothing in that process checks your doctors or prescriptions.

What it costs in Collier County before any subsidy

These are the full monthly prices, before any premium tax credit, for the cheapest Collier plan at each metal level. I show the sticker price because it is what your subsidy is subtracted from, and most people who enroll in Collier pay less, often a lot less.

Monthly premium, full priceAge 21Age 40Age 60Couple, both 40Couple 40 + 2 kids
Lowest bronze$445$569$1,209$1,138$1,820

Lowest gold$578$738$1,568$1,477$2,361
Lowest platinum$1,007$1,286$2,732$2,573$4,113

Benchmark silver is the second lowest of the 45 silver premiums listed for Collier. The last column is two adults aged 40 plus two children.

What these numbers mean if you live in Collier County

Collier County is one of 32 of the 79 counties and parishes on my list where the metal levels are priced in the order you would expect. The cheapest gold at 40 is $738, which is $9 above the benchmark silver and $9 above the cheapest silver. In Collier the extra gold premium pays for a lower deductible rather than coming free.

In Collier County the benchmark is $160 above the cheapest bronze at age 40, and 26 of the other 78 counties and parishes I track have a narrower one. That gap decides whether bronze can be free, because your subsidy is the $730 benchmark minus what the government expects you to pay from your income. A 40 year old in Collier whose expected share is $160 a month or less would pay nothing for the cheapest bronze. At 60 the Collier gap grows to $341 and at 21 it shrinks to $125, which is why older enrollees are the ones most likely to find a $0 plan.

Compared with nearby Lee County, the Collier benchmark is $12 higher at 40 and the cheapest bronze is $31 higher. Cigna and Molina Healthcare sell in Collier and not in Lee County. AvMed sells in Lee County and not in Collier.

By network type the 131 Collier plans break down as 93 HMO, 14 POS, 14 PPO and 10 EPO. Only 14 are PPOs, and every one of them comes from Florida Blue. If seeing specialists without a referral matters to you, that narrows the Collier shelf to one company. 23 plans in Collier have a $0 medical deductible (13 expanded bronze, 6 platinum and 4 gold). The 13 bronze ones among them still have out of pocket maximums of $9,900 to $10,600, so a $0 deductible does not mean a small bill.

Every Collier price on this page is before subsidies, and most enrollees pay less. For a 40 year old in Collier the premium tax credit is measured against the $730 benchmark. Estimate your own subsidy, or send me your ZIP and I will run the Collier numbers for you.
